Shopify Privacy API

The Shopify Privacy API feature is for Shopify stores that want CleanCMP choices reflected in Shopify's customer privacy layer.

What it does

When enabled, CleanCMP maps analytics, marketing, and personalization choices to Shopify Customer Privacy API tracking consent fields.

Why it matters

Shopify stores often have platform scripts, storefront cookies, analytics apps, and marketing tools. Syncing consent choices helps keep the store and tracking setup aligned.

How to use it

Install CleanCMP in the Shopify theme, enable Shopify sync in Admin, scan the storefront, publish, and test accept and reject choices on the live theme.
