Proof Records

Proof Records give you a practical trail of what visitors chose and which published configuration was active at the time.

What it does

CleanCMP records decisions such as accept, reject, and custom choices with a consent ID, timestamp, site ID, config version, category state, and source.

Why it matters

A banner is not much help if you cannot later explain what choice was made. Proof records help support reporting, exports, and consent history checks.

How to use it

Publish the banner, test choices, then review consent records and reporting in Admin. Use exports when you need a JSON or CSV copy for a specific date range.
