GTM Native Install

The GTM Native Install is for websites where tags are managed in Google Tag Manager. It gives you one CleanCMP install URL and a consent-aware GTM template.

What it does

The GTM template loads the CleanCMP runtime, sets default consent early, reads stored CleanCMP choices, and updates Google consent signals when visitors choose.

Why it matters

Consent setup needs to happen before normal analytics and advertising tags. The GTM template is designed for the Consent Initialization trigger so Google tags receive the right state early.

How to use it

Import the CleanCMP GTM template, paste the site-specific install URL from Admin, fire it on Consent Initialization - All Pages, then test accept, reject, and custom choices.
