Global Privacy Control
Global Privacy Control is a browser-level privacy signal. CleanCMP includes support resources so websites can recognize and declare support for it.
What it does
CleanCMP can detect GPC signals in the browser and exposes a public declaration at the well-known GPC endpoint.
Why it matters
Some visitors express privacy preferences through browser settings or extensions. GPC support helps the consent layer respond to that signal instead of relying only on banner clicks.
How to use it
Enable GPC support in Admin when appropriate, publish the config, and verify that the well-known declaration and runtime behavior are available on the public domain.
What you get
- Detect browser privacy signal
- Publish declaration
- Support silent handling
Use Global Privacy Control in CleanCMP
CleanCMP includes this feature in the same workspace as the scanner, banner builder, Consent Mode v2 mapping, reporting, and publish history.
