Blocking Helpers
Blocking Helpers are for directly embedded scripts or iframes that are not fully controlled by GTM and need explicit consent gating.
What it does
When enabled, CleanCMP looks for marked script and iframe elements, waits for the matching category to be granted, and then releases them.
Why it matters
Some trackers, videos, widgets, or pixels are hardcoded on the site. If they are not managed in GTM, explicit helper markup gives you a practical way to gate them.
How to use it
Enable blocking helpers, mark each script or iframe with the right CleanCMP category attributes, publish, then test reject and accept states.
What you get
- Gate hardcoded scripts
- Gate iframes
- Release after consent
Use Blocking Helpers in CleanCMP
CleanCMP includes this feature in the same workspace as the scanner, banner builder, Consent Mode v2 mapping, reporting, and publish history.
